The Smoochinator
Hal Wilson is a clean stand-up comedian whose real-life perspective comes from decades in coaching, higher education, parenting, and learning that getting older is not for the weak.
A former college basketball walk-on turned award-winning coach and professor, Hal now brings those stories to the stage with warmth, intelligence, and sharp audience-friendly humor. He first grabbed a microphone at a high school pep rally in 1998, then took the scenic route back to stand-up nearly three decades later — returning with more experience and far better material. Hal’s range makes him a favorite for corporate keynotes, theater headlining, and upscale private events.
He also lives with a dog named Smoochie. His kids named him. Hal calls him The Smoochinator. This is not a negotiation.
